A CBCT scanner is a high-tech and modern scanning machine, which is capable of producing high-quality panoramic, paranasal sinus, temporal bone and dental cone beam CT 3D images at a fraction of the dose of conventional CT systems. Leading to more precise diagnosis and treatment for the affected area. Unlike traditional X-rays, CBCT scanners can distinguish between different types of tissue and this enables the dentist to see structures in and around the mouth in greater detail.
